Software Architect

Position Overview

The Software Architect is responsible for designing and overseeing the technical architecture of software applications and systems. This role provides technical leadership throughout the software development lifecycle, ensuring solutions are scalable, secure, reliable, and aligned with business objectives.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design scalable, secure, and high-performance software architectures for enterprise applications.
  • Define system architecture, application frameworks, and technology standards.
  • Translate business requirements into technical solutions with stakeholders and development teams.
  • Lead architectural reviews and provide technical guidance throughout the software development lifecycle.
  • Evaluate technologies, frameworks, tools, and platforms to support business needs.
  • Develop architectural documentation, technical specifications, and design patterns.
  • Oversee system integrations, APIs, cloud infrastructure, and microservices architecture.
  • Identify technical risks and develop mitigation strategies.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
  • 5+ years of experience in software development, architecture, or technical leadership.
  • Strong knowledge of software design principles, architecture patterns, and system integration.
  • Experience with cloud platforms, APIs, databases, and modern development practices.
